How PrintCal works

Five steps. Open PrintCal from the Print calendar button in Outlook, or go to printcal.nostello.com/app in any browser.

  1. Sign in, or try the sample

Sign in with your Microsoft account (work, school or personal). PrintCal asks to read your calendar, read-only. Want to look around first? Open the sample calendar: no sign-in, no data.

  2. Choose calendars

Tick the calendars to print. Give each its own colour (or pattern for black & white). Tick Include shared calendars to add calendars others have shared with you (Pro and Team).

  3. Choose a layout and dates

Month, week, work week, day, agenda or weekly agenda. Use the quick buttons (Today, This week, Next month…) or set the dates yourself. Choose what to show: places, attendees, organiser, notes lines, all-day events, declined events, week numbers.

  4. Set paper and style

Paper size, portrait or landscape, margins, text size, 12 or 24-hour times, the week's first day, colour, greyscale or black & white. Choose the time zone the times are printed in. Save your favourites as templates.

  5. Check the preview, then print

The preview is the real page. Press Download PDF to save a vector PDF with selectable text, or Print to open it for your printer. Printing right after downloading reuses the same PDF and doesn't use another free PDF.

What happens to my data?

Your browser fetches your events from Microsoft Graph with your own token, lays them out and builds the PDF on your device. PrintCal's server is only asked two things: “who's this and what plan are they on?” and “may they make another PDF this month?”. See Privacy.

On a phone or tablet

The page works at phone width. Open printcal.nostello.com/app and use the Options and Preview tabs.
